How people use the site: Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the pages, so we can fix what is confusing. Clarity records clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, which pages you view, and your device, browser and rough location. It can replay a visit as a recording.

Clarity hides anything you type into a form. We also take search words out of the page address before Clarity starts, so it does not record what you searched for.

Clarity sets cookies to recognise a returning visitor. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland it does not set them, because the site does not ask for consent. Microsoft handles this data as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement, and it may use it for its own purposes, including advertising.

Error reports

If you use “Report an error”, we receive your message, the page you were on, and any screenshot, name or email address you choose to add. It arrives as an email and is used only to fix the site and, if you left an email address, to reply to you.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages and block abuse.

What we don't do

There are no accounts, no ads and no email lists. We don't sell data.
